Our quality has a history

EXPRESSO was founded as a family business in 1953 in Germany when it started with the production of manual transport equipment.

The original business involved manufacturing hand trucks for barrels. The product range was soon extended and the business expanded to a variety of branches amongst them even 2-wheeled “baggage carts” for the German railway in the early 60s.

Since the late 60s EXPRESSO has been developing and delivering 3- and 4-wheeled steel baggage carts with and without brake whereof the 3-wheeled versions started to prevail until now.

In 1989 EXPRESSO developed the worldwide first aluminium baggage cart.

Today, EXPRESSO is one of the world's market leaders in the area of baggage carts with a worldwide reputation for design, development and manufacturing of top-quality baggage carts made in Germany – approximately 85% of them are made of EXPRESSO’s special aluminium alloy.
